La Flor Dominicana offers the perfect combination of strength, smoothness and complexity with the Colorado Oscuro. Rather than simply being an all-out powerhouse, the Colorado Oscuro uses Nicaraguan Habano wrapper housing a meaty blend of Dominican and Nicaraguan tobacco that brings forth an underlying sweetness that you usually don't find in a lot of full-body cigars. Notes of spice, leather, and espresso permeate the palate, and while not as strong as other LFD options, it is still not for the novice smoker.
